Our Furry-Tale

From a young age I knew I wanted to work with animals. When I began my job as a bather and first started my journey into dog grooming, I fell in love. I knew this was a passion that I needed to follow. From there, I attended a grooming program offered by "The Clip Shop Groom and Board". A fantastic salon in Newfoundland, New Jersey where I completed 420 hours of hands-on learning and acquired the skill, patience, and confidence to be a dog groomer.

Everyday, I get to meet amazing clients along with their pups. Every dog has such a unique personality, I love helping them look and feel their best. As owners, I know you want the best pawssible experience for your pup. At Thyme for a Paws, my goal is to create a safe and relaxing experience for your dog, a true spa day that all dogs deserve! I look forward to seeing each and every one of you and your beautiful pups.

Peace and love,

Ever since I was a child, I had a passion for animals. I’ve always wanted to surround myself with animals, especially dogs of all sorts. I started chasing my passion after graduating from High School to study Veterinary Technology. Along with some volunteer work at animal shelters. I eventually decided that I no longer wanted to work in the medical field, and applied for the Pet Care department at PetSmart. After about a year, I started as a bather in the salon. Then, about a year and a half later, I pursued my passion for working with dogs, to become a groomer. I spent a month at a PetSmart location, doing extensive training to learn the basics of grooming along with how to do breed cuts. After I graduated from the PetSmart grooming academy, I spent another 8 months training with experienced groomers on honing my skills before becoming a Professional Pet Stylist.

Every day I meet new, loving owners along with their furry loved ones ranging from all sizes and ages. I make it my goal to ensure that every dog comes in and leaves with nothing but wagging tails, and smelling and feeling amazing. I also make it a goal to build bonds with each family and dog that I see. I even have some dogs that run into my arms as soon as they walk in the door, and don’t look back because of how excited they are to see me! I make it a goal to increase my skills and learn as much as possible. My dream is to learn creative grooming and to compete in shows.

I look forward to meeting all of you and your furry loved ones.
